I hate writing about chains and places of little uniqueness. However, the Jack in the Box near Soulard is about as unique as a chain restaurant gets. Not in appearance but in mindset. I have lived in Soulard since late April and have avoided this place from day one. I had read some of the reviews but was still in disbelief. Somebody must be fudging reality or works at this location. Surely, there cannot be a quality JITB that provides good customer and quality food. I ended up here on an ice cream kick. The Island Frozen Yogart had a sign on the door that said "Cash Only." Well, I was determined to find a sweet, creamy treat. JITB was my third or fourth choice. I ordered two milkshakes, and when I arrived at the drive thru window, the employee actually apologized for keeping me waiting! I barely get a "thank you," well, anywhere. Still, I was not convinced, so about a week ago, I went on a Jack in the Box bender. I went there three days in a row, and not once did I receive bad service. Also, the workers were all very nice. I couldn't believe it. I have found the perfect Jack in the Box!

My wife and I love Jack in the Box and we are very disappointed that there is not one in Memphis. Therefore, whenever we travel to a city that has one we make sure to stop by and have two tacos and spilt an ultimate cheeseburger. We were extremely disappointed in this Jack in the Box. The food was horrible and I believe that the hamburger patty had been sitting for hours. The one thing I will say, the sound lady at the counter was extremely friendly and very polite even though she was dealing with another customer that appeared to have forgotten what he actually ordered. Nice people, bad food.

They're charging .11 cents for 1 extra ranch now?!!!?! WTF JB! I'll be going else where, I don't submit to paying for more ranch, it's the midwest! We hook ranch up to our IV's here!

Not a huge fan of fats...er fast food, but hey sometimes a man has a few cocktails and wants the stomach filled at the end of the night before retiring to the couch. So here I find myself in a pickle...what to eat at this time of night? In comes JITB, conveniently located just down the street. Have to say that I agree with Saucy that the service here is outstanding. The employees seem to be enjoying themselves and like to talk to customers. More importantly they dont skimp on the condiments! Always a key for my fast food experience. Only loss of a star is me agreeing with Hudson that the bums are all over this place, but thats to be expected here in the city. I'll definitely be back, just not during the daytime hours.

They have re-done the interior of this Jack-In-The-Box. The service seems to be better or maybe they were just having a good day.

Nope nope nope read this before you judge 5 stars for a jack in the box lol. I usually have a problem with every other jack in the box, rude employees or wrong orders to the point where I have to be ultrabitch and do a complaint online. NO LIE. We spotted this random jack in the box for us and when I tell you that it was literally THE BEST JUNK FOOD DRIVE THRU EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. We were starving, ordered our food, the lady taking the order was nice as can be. Food was nice and hot, everything was correct and I was in shock that I actually went to a jack in the box without any crap!! thank you!
